Catholic Youth Organization - CYO

The mission of the Archdiocese of San Antonio CYO athletic program is to empower athletic leaders to animate Gospel values in catholic youth Sports, encouraging young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ.

In a world that focuses on a win-at-all cost attitude, where professional athletes have moved from role model to entertainer, and when kids are just not having fun anymore, catholic youth sports should be offering more:

• A safe, healthy place to play, physically, emotionally, spiritually and intellectually;
• A place where lessons are learned in winning and lessons are learned In losing.
• A place where all are welcomed and respected for who they are, for what they can or cannot do;
• A place where Catholic Gospel values, character and faith matter;
• A place where GOD is present.

• Participation in all CYO sports is limited to children born on or before 8/31/2022
• Registration closes on Friday 02/27/2026.  NO LATE registrants will be accepted for teams that have already met the minimum number of players required.
• Practices may begin as early as 03/02/2026 depending on team formation
• Regular season begins 04/10/2026
• Regular season ends 05/17/2026 followed by playoffs for teams that qualify
• Weekly practices at facilities near St. Anthony School (see below)
• Games Saturday and Sunday with some Friday games possible
• Games played at “local” parish facilities including parishes in New Braunfels
  Co-Ed T-Ball and Baseball Overview
  ·         T-Ball and Baseball Teams are Co-Ed.
  ·         Registration fee is $100 for TOT (KRP age) T-Ball divisions, $125 for all others
• Practices may start early March at Incarnate Word HS and nearby local parks. Practice days will be determined by the volunteer coach.
  Girls Softball Overview

• Girls Softball is limited to girls only
• Participation is limited to girls with birthdates on or before 8/31/2019
