Meet Ms. Elizabeth Herrera
Hello! My name is Elizabeth Herrera, and I am excited to welcome you and your child to Fifth Grade! I teach Science, Social Studies, Religion, and Spanish Language Arts and Reading (SLAR).
I began my teaching career in 2011 with the San Antonio Independent School District after working as a social worker for several years. This is my fourth year with the Archdiocese of San Antonio, and I feel very blessed to be part of the St. Anthony Catholic School community—not only as a teacher, but also as a parent.
I am a graduate of St. Mary’s University and am currently continuing my own education as I work toward my MBA. I am also the proud mom of three charismatic children who attend school here at St. Anthony.
Our Classroom:
Throughout the year, students will explore Science, Social Studies, Religion, and Spanish Language Arts and Reading while continuing to develop the independence and responsibility that come with being a Fifth Grader.
My goal is to provide students with opportunities to learn, ask questions, grow in their faith, and make meaningful connections between what they learn in the classroom and the world around them.
